Dunavski Civilni Socijalni Forum
Od planiranja do akcije u okvirima EU Dunavske strategije

Dunavski Civilni Socijalni Forum je konstituisan po usvajanju staturanih dokumenta i izborom članova Izvršnog odbora DCSF.
Evropska komisija i Evropski savet su pružili ohrabrenje za osnivanje Dunavskog Civilnog Socijalnog Foruma, koji je predviđen član u realizaciji akcionog plana razvoja Dunavske strategije.
Više od 100 učesnika iz podunavskog regiona okupilo se u Ajzenštatu na inauguracioni čin Dunavskog Civilnog Socijalnog Foruma kao međunarodne organizacije civilnog društva, sa zajedničkom platformom i strukturom prilikom realizacije implementacije EU Dunavske strategije.
DCSF je otvorena, neprofitnaa, nestranačka organizacija sa sedištem u Ajzenštatu, Austrija
Domaćin DCSF je Fondacija Foster Europe.

Positions and Suggestions on the Implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region
The EU Strategy for the Danube Region has been established with a broad participation from stakeholders from the European Union, the participating states and regions, municipalities, public and private authorities, academia, and civil society. The basic document, the EUSDR action plan sets high standards in demanding participation of Civil Society on all levels of the Danube Strategy. “The inclusion of civil society in implementing the strategy and the association of civil stakeholders is crucial to the success of the Strategy”, (Action Plan, p. 75). Civil Society participation is a key principle of the Lisbon Treaty as well as the EUSDR.

Osmu godinu za redom, učestvujemo i koordiniramo javnom manifestacijom „DAN DUNAVA“ U NOVOM SADU 2011, koja će se ove godine realizovati pod sloganom :”Izađi na Dunav, poželi želju i daj šansu za život”. Centralna, planirana, ovogodišnja aktivnost u organizaciji NVO “SVET I DUNAV” i u partnerstvu sa NVO „Dunavsko blago“, usmerena je na privrednu aktivnost: PORIBLJAVANJE Dunava, uz niz edukativnih, zabavnih i kulturoloških sadržaja. Manifestaciju obeležavanja Dan Dunava, podržali su, pored Internacionalne komisije za zaštitu reke Dunav, Republika Srbija, Direkcija za vode, Gradska uprava za privredu Novog Sada, Coca Cola Hellenic, veliki broj udruženja građana… Sve aktivnosti će se sprovoditi uz logističku podršku Gradske uprave za obrazovanje, tj. uz uključivanje velikog broja Osnovnih škola sa teritorije grada Novog Sada.

Danube Day is a celebration of a cleaner, safer river following 17 years of international cooperation. Huge festivals on the banks of the rivers; public meetings and fun, educational events pay tribute to the Danube, its peoples and the progress that has been made. Danube Day strengthens our “Danube solidarity” highlighting that, in spite of our different cultures and histories, we have a shared desire and responsibility to protect our precious resource. www.danubeday.org For the fifth consecutive year, NGO World and Danube, just on the occasion marking the International day of protection of the environment-the 5 of the June, began a campaign to strengthen public awareness the necessity of protecting the Danube River on the occasion 29th of the June, International Danube day. Participation of a wide range of interested public, professional and other associations of citizens, government and NGO sector, from local and regional significance, as well as share a rich network of private and public educational institutions, last year the celebration of Day of the Danube in Novi Sad was devoted to creating a network of medium and large companies dedicated to the Danube- Friends of the Danube.
